More than two decades ago, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution put forth a logical solution to the issue of Palestine, one that is based on international law, “Conduct a referendum among all the original people of Palestine, including Muslims, Christians and Jews, to decide the political system of Palestine.” This solution has been repeated so many times in his speeches in recent years and in the statements of other officials of the Islamic Republic that it has come to be known as “the official initiative of the Islamic Republic for resolving the issue of Palestine.”

The Coronavirus: The response of Western families vs. Muslim families

The word “Covidivorces,” which refers to divorces resulting from Covid-19, is a new term that has recently been added to dictionaries.[i] Covidivorces is defined to be a kind of divorce that comes about in today’s world due to issues arising from the coronavirus. Based on a Euronews report, the first instance of this kind of divorce was registered between a couple in New York this year on the 27th of March. Later on, China and France expressed concern about this being a crisis. A few weeks later, the French government announced that in the wake of the orders to stay at home, domestic violence had increased by 32 percent. The government assigned specific hotels to host the victims of this kind of violence. Eventually, after this crisis had spread throughout the world, the U.N.
