Imam Khamenei issued a message expressing condolences on the demise of the Mujahid and Scholar, the late Hujjatul Islam Sayyid Hadi Khosrowshahi.
The message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I extend my condolences on the demise of the scholar who worked for the cause of God, the late Hujjatul Islam Wal Muslimin Sayyid Hadi Khosrowshahi (May Allah’s mercy be upon him) to his esteemed family, friends, his sincere followers, and those who are interested in his writings. He was indefatigable in promoting Islamic teachings by writing numerous articles, translations, and books during sixty years of his life. He exhibited extraordinary motivation and effort to bring the Islamic sects closer together and to bring unity to the Muslims. His diplomatic efforts in the Vatican and in Cairo during the time of the Islamic Republic are another part of the services provided by this longtime friend of mine. I ask Allah the Almighty to bestow His mercy and forgiveness on him and to resurrect him with his immaculate ancestors.
