Power is only in God’s hands. Whenever God wills something, even the most powerful powers in the world can’t do anything. Right now, the Arrogant Powers, the powerful Zionists, and the capitalists are all extremely worried about the existence of an Islamic sovereignty and an Islamic government. They are trying to destroy it, but they haven’t been able to do so. This is while in appearances they have everything. They have money, they have power, they have nuclear [bombs], they have political capabilities, and they have facilities for propaganda – [yet], their wish has not been fulfilled. So this is what the material powers are like. They look powerful. There are times when it’s the Almighty God’s will that this power not have an effect and it doesn’t have an effect. At another time, it’s God’s will for this power to have an effect and it does have an effect. A pious, monotheist sees God as being the only possessor of power. Now, sometimes it may be necessary for a person to receive help for the cause of God. This is not a problem, but [at the same time] you understand that such a power is not the true power. True power belongs to God.
