"And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of God as dead; rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision." (Quran 3:169)
God Almighty has spoken the truth. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return.
He was a sun radiating light — as Imam Khomeini had described him. Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei, the righteous servant of God, the Wali-e faqih, the Leader of the Ummah and its inspiration, has joined the mercy and pleasure of God. He has taken his place among the greatest martyred commanders in the momentous history of this Ummah — a mujahid Leader, faithful, devoted, and courageous, possessed of profound insight and lofty wisdom. He has joined the luminous caravan of the divine path, from the Messenger of God, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), to the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (pbuh), and the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussain (pbuh).
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, after a long and blessed life spent in the service of the oppressed, and on the fronts of truth against falsehood in various parts of the world, has descended from the field of jihad. The cause of Palestine's liberation and support for the oppressed Palestinian nation was the central pillar of his efforts. On this path, he placed pure souls and the immense capacities of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic at the service of this cause with utmost sincerity.
Sayyid Ali Khamenei attained martyrdom in the blessed month of Ramadan at the hands of "criminal Israelis and Americans" — a martyrdom seen as emulating the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (pbuh). After consolidating the foundations of the Islamic Republic and transforming it into a powerful, dignified, and influential nation in the fields of knowledge, action, jihad, and resistance, he hastened to meet his Lord, having led this system from victory to victory and from dignity to dignity.
In this statement, condolences are offered on his martyrdom to the Imam of the Age (may God hasten his reappearance), the sources of emulation, the seminaries, the mujahideen and the faithful, the nation of Iran, the Islamic Ummah, the free people and the oppressed of the world, the officials of the Islamic Republic, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and his family.
While congratulating his martyrdom as a "supreme triumph," the statement emphasizes the continuation of the path of jihad and resistance. It also honors the memory of other martyrs, including Sayyed Abbas Mousavi, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine. In conclusion, Hezbollah declares that it will remain steadfast alongside the Islamic Republic of Iran on the path of confronting the enemies, until final victory is achieved.
