The text of the message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
“And give glad tidings to the patient—those who, when disaster strikes them, say: Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return.”
O great Ummah of Islam, seekers of justice across the world, and the noble and powerful people of Iran: once again, the filthy hand of the most vile, sworn enemies of humanity emerged from the sleeve of disbelief and granted the wise Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the helmsman of the struggle against global arrogance the honor of martyrdom along the luminous path of the school of Ahl al-Bayt (pbut).
A vigilant and courageous Leader who throughout his life, along the path of the Islamic Revolution, rightly resisted the storms of events, hardships, and pressures, and attained his long-standing aspiration, joining the ranks of the martyrs and the Imam of the martyrs: “Among them are those who fulfilled their vow, and among them are those who await.”
Although this loss is extremely heavy, Islamic history bears witness that jihad in the path of truth has always been irrigated by the sacrifice of blood. Such martyrdoms are the price of dignity and independence and will be a prelude to the appearance of Imam Mahdi (may our souls be sacrificed for him).
In this sensitive and decisive juncture, several essential points must be emphasized to the dear people of Islamic Iran and to Muslims worldwide:
1. Always remember that the Hand of God is above all powers. In these trials, no weakness must be allowed to enter hearts, for God’s promise of assistance never fails: “If you support God, He will support you."
2. Just as the Holy Quran warns regarding the passing of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)—that "Muhammad is but a messenger and messengers have passed before him"—so too the martyrdom of servants of religion must not cause the slightest wavering in determination. This Revolution is a blessed tree not dependent on any single individual. By Divine grace and through adherence to the Verse“Indeed, God is with the righteous,” the banner of this movement will never fall, God willing.
3. The time has now come for the heavy responsibility of the Assembly of Experts to act decisively and without delay in accordance with the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran; its decision is religiously and legally final.
4. All branches of government and officials of the system are obliged to carry out their duties with renewed motivation and greater wisdom, ensuring that no disruption occurs in the lives of the people or in the order and calm of society.
5. We are in the midst of a full-scale war. The powerful military and security forces—who are a source of reassurance for the people—must act firmly and without the slightest leniency, extinguishing any conspiracy or unrest created by enemies at its inception and confronting them with prudence until their complete defeat.
6. The secret of our victory is unity. It is the religious duty of all concerned individuals and every member of the nation to safeguard unity and confront enemy infiltration and rumor-mongering.
7. The people of Iran and the Islamic world will avenge the blood of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution. The principal perpetrators of this crime are the arrogant government of America and the accursed Zionist regime, and seeking retribution is the religious duty of Muslims worldwide so that the evil of these criminals may be removed from the world.
8. Let us not neglect prayer and supplication. We remain under the guardianship of our living and watchful Imam, who will not abandon us. With hearts filled with sorrow yet hopeful in Divine support, we raise our hands in humble prayer for the victory of truth.
In conclusion, I offer my condolences on the martyrdom of the esteemed leader of the Revolution, his companions, and a number of innocent children and citizens of our country to the Baqiyyatullah al-A‘zam (may our souls be sacrificed for him), to all Muslims and freedom-seekers worldwide, and especially to the dear people of Iran. I ask God Almighty to grant them the highest ranks and to bestow patience and abundant reward upon the bereaved.
And peace be upon the righteous servants of God.
