The text of the message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
"Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return."
With deep sorrow, I extend my condolences to the noble people of Iran and to all Muslims around the world on the martyrdom of the esteemed Leader of the Islamic Republic, His Eminence Ayatollah Mr. Khamenei (may God be pleased with him).
The elevated status of that great figure and his unique role in steering the system of the Islamic Republic over many years are evident to all.
Undoubtedly, by assassinating him and carrying out widespread military aggression against the country, the enemies seek to inflict damages upon dear Iran. The great nation of this land is expected, in these difficult and sensitive circumstances, to preserve unity and national cohesion and not allow the aggressors to achieve their malicious objectives.
I ask Almighty God to grant the departed one the highest ranks and Divine pleasure, and to bestow upon all the bereaved patience and abundant reward.
