The truth is that October 7 is a great day in the history of the Palestinian nation, and it is a day about which history will be written in gold letters. This is in fact an event that tells us the Zionist enemy will be defeated, and, God willing, this defeat will lead to their annihilation, because the occupying regime is based on corruption and injustice, and what is based on oppression will not last. As Commander Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, may God have mercy on him, said, “Whatever is built on the foundation of oppression, its fate is failure and collapse.” Even when they asked him about the power of this Zionist regime, he said: “Power will deplete, and these governments have a lifetime and will disappear, because they were built on the foundation of oppression.”
We are at an important historical stage, and as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said, “This defeat of Israel is irreparable.” This reality has multiple dimensions. The first dimension is that despite the security and intelligence preparedness of the Zionist enemy, the resistance managed to surprise them from a technical point of view. In addition, during the preceding few days, the resistance had conducted maneuvers near the barbed wire fences of the Gaza border and the neighboring settlements of the occupied Palestinian territories, but they were ignored by the enemy. Therefore, the resistance infiltrated in two ways, first by air and paragliders, as well as guided missiles, which the Iron Dome could not intercept all of these blessed missiles that the Palestinian people launched toward the Zionist settlements, and second by land.
This is a real change in the military thinking of mujahideen and fighters who began to confront British and Zionist colonialism a century ago. During this 75-year colonization, the first foundations of resistance were built based on the idea of popular uprising and attacking the enemy with all their strength. Then it became the theory of the economy of power, that is, you should make use of everything you have.
Then, it went ahead to the limit of the balance of imposition of fear and balance of deterrence with the enemy, and after that, it came to the theory of imposing a heavy cost on the occupiers at the economic and security levels, which successfully and clearly led to the escape of the Zionist enemy in 2005 without any limit, condition, or agreement. And today, in 2023, under a new doctrine and thinking, it has turned into a blessed operation under the title of Al-Aqsa Storm, which is the same doctrine of being present in the occupied lands, breaking the enemy’s hegemony, carrying out operations, raising the flag of freedom in these lands, and reaching real, successful operations in the strategic depth of the Zionists.
Praise God, since the auspicious morning of October 7, the mujahideen clashed with the enemy in more than 50 locations in the Gaza Strip, and, in fact, all of these broke the Zionist enemy’s hegemony and resulted in a large number of Zionist captives, including aggressors and occupying soldiers, such that Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations said the total number of captives is hundreds, or between 100 and 150. The number, of course, is more than this.
The reports of the Ministry of Health of Israel or the Israeli army mention 750 missing Israeli soldiers and civilians, and we are now talking about thousands of wounded and hundreds of dead among the ranks of the occupying army, who killed our people and wanted to infiltrate our ranks. But, praise God, the Palestinian nation and our resistance were vigilant. Therefore, the occupiers must indeed admit that this battle is the beginning of the battle to end the Zionist enemy and the beginning of freedom of our captives and freedom of our al-Aqsa Mosque. God willing, the end of this occupation is near.
But about this operation, that is, Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, you should know that this was an operation that was carried out by the grace of God Almighty and with a purely and entirely Palestinian signature. According to many world leaders and Zionist leaders, this operation managed to surprise and shock the Zionist enemy. On the other hand, we are proud that the entire Islamic Ummah is with us, because this is the duty of the Islamic Ummah. Our brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran are our friends and dears, and in all these years, they stood by the Palestinian cause despite their tight and difficult situations and offered everything they had so that, by the grace of God Almighty, the resistance would achieve what it has achieved today.
As the Leader of the Islamic Republic said, this resistance is one that deserves to be saluted and revered. In fact, the Palestinian nation deserves this reverence due to its resistance and self-sacrifices. Thanks to this outstanding operation, the Palestinian resistance managed to penetrate deep into the occupied territories and inflict damage on the aggressors. This is the beginning of the complete victory of Palestine from the river to the sea, God willing.
