The Leader of the Islamic Revolution met with the President and Cabinet Members on August 30, 2022. He spoke about some of the achievements made by this government over the last year and gave some important recommendations, including his recommendation to give priority to economic issues. The Leader explained, “The people have been ‘the main heroes during this time following the Revolution’ throughout all the incidents and events that have taken place. This fact is a lesson to learn from, and it shows all the officials how they should behave with this nation.”

Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with the President and members of the cabinet today (Tuesday), August 30, 2022 in the Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah. This meeting was held on the anniversary of the martyrdom of martyr Rajaee (the second president of the Islamic Republic of Iran) and martyr Bahonar (the third prime minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran) who were assassinated by the MKO terrorist group on August, 1981.

The Leader of the Revolution, participated in a dusting ceremony of the holy tomb of Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (pbuh) in an atmosphere full of spirituality. During the Leader of the Revolution’s trip to the holy city of Mashhad, which he went on after the country's changed situation concerning Covid, he participated in the dusting ceremony of Imam Reza's (pbuh) holy tomb. This ceremony was attended by a group of religious scholars and those who serve in Imam Reza’s shrine (pbuh). This ceremony included the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, the reading of the Jami`a al-Kabirah Supplication, and reading elegies about the sufferings of the Household of the Prophet (pbut). This dusting ceremony was conducted during the last days of the month of Muharram (August 2022).
