Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with the participants of the 7th General Assembly of the AhlulBayt World Assembly (ABWA) in the Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah on September 3, 2022. In the beginning of this meeting, he said that the greatness and popularity of the Household of the Prophet (pbut) is unique in the world of Islam. He emphasized, “Islamic societies today have a serious need for all the various aspects of the Household’s teachings. Thus, the AhlulBayt World Assembly should carry out this responsibility based on detailed, correct planning. Furthermore, they must use reasonable methods and effective tools to carry out this heavy responsibility.”

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution met with the President and Cabinet Members on August 30, 2022. He spoke about some of the achievements made by this government over the last year and gave some important recommendations, including his recommendation to give priority to economic issues. The Leader explained, “The people have been ‘the main heroes during this time following the Revolution’ throughout all the incidents and events that have taken place. This meeting was held on the anniversary of the martyrdom of martyr Rajaee (the second president of the Islamic Republic of Iran) and martyr Bahonar (the third prime minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran) who were assassinated by the MKO terrorist group on August, 1981.
