The birth of Jesus was the birth of mercy and blessings into the world for a people who were overwhelmed by darkness, ignorance, corruption, deprivation and discrimination due to the domination of the arrogant powers and the pressure brought by destructive regimes. The message of Jesus Christ was to save people from all of these.
