In an exclusive interview with Khamenei.ir, Mrs. Zeenah Ibrahim, the Shia religious, political activist and the wife of Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, speaks about her early life in Nigeria, her early education, and the emergence of the revolutionary approach to Islam among the Nigerian traditional Islamic mindset. During this interview, she recalls some of the most vital moments in the advent of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, and the central role of Sheikh Zakzaky in creating and leading it. She also mentions the story of her journey with Sheikh, the martyrdom of her children, and how she and her husband, Sheikh Zakzaky, were able to bear this tragedy with the help of God.
