The Basij is a great, shining heritage from the late Imam [Khomeini], a manifestation of national sovereignty, and an exhibition of purity, sincerity, insight and struggle.
The name of Basij is mentioned everywhere and the presence of the Basij is manifest in every area including: defending the country and its independence and stability, providing essential services on a national scale, leading scientific activities and new technologies, carrying out activities with an approach based on Islamic values and creating a spiritual atmosphere. Faith, determination, a sense of responsibility, and self-confidence are the main foundations of these capacities and the solution to problems. These are blessings and gifts from God that should be preserved and increased by thanking God and through constant care.
Basij is a great wealth and God-given reserve for the Iranian nation. The enemies of the Iranian nation have always been thinking about how to destroy it or make it ineffective. Officials in the organization and each of the dear Basij should consider themselves responsible for nullifying the effects of the enemy's villainy and proceed forward with trust in God, sincerity and planning. May God grant you success.
