Today, the US is clearly weaker in the region than 10, 20 years ago. Today, the vicious Zionist regime is clearly weaker than the past. A few years ago, the Zionist regime was defeated by the Hezbollah of Lebanon. It managed to resist for 33 days and then, it [Zionist regime] was defeated. Two years later, it managed to resist for 22 days and then, it was defeated by the Palestinians. And a few years after that, it managed to resist for eight days against the oppressed people of Gaza and then, it was defeated. Just last week, it managed to resist for two days and then, it was defeated. This is the weakness of the Zionist regime. This is the increasing weakness of the Zionist regime.
The nations who have a certain thought, identity and motivation are reliant on God. They rely on Allah and Allah the Exalted will help them: “If the unbelievers should fight you, they would certainly turn their backs. Then would they find neither protector nor helper. Such has been the practice of Allah already in the past: no change will you find in the practice of Allah” [The Holy Quran, 48: 22-23]. This is a divine tradition. If Muslims stand firm, they will achieve victory over all the apparatuses of Taghuti and arrogant powers.
Today, the people of Yemen are enduring the hardest tortures by the Saudi government, its followers and the US – its main supporter – but you should know that the people of Yemen and Ansarullah will certainly be victorious! They will not be defeated. The people of Palestine will not be defeated. The only way is resistance. What has made the US so agitated today that it resorts to blather and wrong measures is the resistance of Muslim nations and this resistance will produce results.
The event of Lebanon was really the manifestation of "When you threw a handful of dust, it was not your act, but Allah's" [The Holy Quran, 8: 17]. Like "blocks of iron" [The Holy Quran, 18: 96] God strengthened the divine hands of these youth in a way that this event became so great and important. The army of the Zionist regime was so strong that its powerful neighboring countries could not imagine that they could resist it, let alone delivering such blows to it. Not only was the Zionist enemy in Lebanon stopped but it also received severe blows and it suffered a loss. They received these blows in the face of only part of Lebanese resources. It was disgraced and it failed to achieve even one-tenth of the goals that it had set itself.
This is a very astonishing event. The enemies and opponents of Islam and Muslims are not willing to acknowledge it, but we can fully understand this from their statements. They have become shocked and stupefied. It is such a great event that they cannot understand and analyze at all. Of course, they want to discuss and analyze it and see how it happened. But it happened anyway. This was the divine help and assistance and it was achieved with diligence and hard work.
This disaster and calamity has not led to the results that the leaders and supporters of that murderous regime wanted. Contrary to the idiotic dreams of power and stability for this regime that the filthy officials of the Zionist regime dream, day-by-day this regime has moved closer to implosion and annihilation.
The 50-day resistance of besieged and shelter-less people of Gaza in the face of the full capabilities of the Zionist regime, and the resulting incapability and retreat of that regime and its surrender to the conditions of the resistance- is a clear example of that regime's weakness, incapacity, and hollowness.
All of this means: the people of Palestine have to be more hopeful than ever before, the fighters of Jihad and Hamas have increased their efforts, purpose, and work, the West Bank has to intensify the continual path of glory towards power and steadfastness, the Muslim peoples have to demand real and serious support of Palestine from their governments and Muslim governments have to take sincere steps in this path.
It is 65 years now that the world of arrogance has been trying with all its power to impose the existence of the Zionist regime on Muslim nations and to make them accept this regime. But it has failed. We should not look at some countries and governments which are willing to act against their national interests in order to safeguard the interests of their foreign friends - who are the enemies of Islam - and to consign Islamic interests to oblivion. Peoples are opposed to the presence of the Zionists.
It is 65 years now that they have been trying to erase the memory of Palestine, but they have failed. During the 33-day war in Lebanon and during the 22-day war and - for the second time - the eight-day war in Gaza which were waged in recent years, Muslim nations and the Islamic Ummah showed that they are alive. The Islamic Ummah showed that despite the investment of America and other western powers, it has managed to preserve its identity, to slap the fake and imposed Zionist regime across the face and to frustrate the allies of oppressive Zionists who did their best during this time to preserve this imposed, oppressive and criminal regime. The Islamic Ummah showed that it has not forgotten about Palestine. This is a very important issue.
It is in such conditions that the enemy is focusing all its efforts on making the Islamic Ummah forget about Palestine. How do they want to do this? They want to do this by creating discord, waging domestic wars, promoting deviant extremism in the name of Islam, religion and Islamic sharia. They want a group of people to say takfiri things against Muslims. The existence of these takfiri orientations which have emerged in the world of Islam is good news for arrogance and the enemies of the world of Islam. It is these takfiri orientations that attract the attention of Muslims towards insignificant issues instead of letting them pay attention to the truth about the existence of the malevolent Zionist regime.
