The foundation of today's European civilization is the Roman culture. So, that which is ruling European and Western culture today, and as a result, the culture of the US and other smaller parts of the West, are the same principles and ideas that existed in the Roman Empire. This is making up today’s standards. Women were also promoted to the highest positions back then. They were respected and adorned with makeup and jewelry. But for what purpose? To satisfy one of the most worldly, materialistic human traits in a man! This is an extremely insulting, humiliating behavior toward human beings and the female gender.
