Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei the Leader of Islamic Revolution cast his vote for the 8th run-off elections on April 25, 2008.
Having cast his ballot, His Eminence described the second round of the election just as important as the first round and said: "The nation will finish the task by taking part in the second round of the election, which is no different from the first round in terms of its importance. Therefore, the same motivation and the same sense of responsibility that caused us to vote in the first round are now calling on us to go to the ballot boxes this time too."
Ayatollah Khamenei also expressed his hope that the Iranian nation will vote in the parliamentary run-off and help form a competent parliament.
