Leader Speaks To Ritual Reciters on the Anniversary of the Auspicious Birthday of HazratZahra (SA)

In the Name of Allah, the All-Compassionate, the All-Merciful I would like to congratulate all of you wholeheartedly on this happy birthday and great Eid (holiday). I would like to sincerely thank all those who have participated in this meeting, those who have run the programs, and finally those who have composed this psalm, put it to music, and performed it.

We should appreciate this heartfelt connection and spiritual relationship; this is a support for our faith and a valuable quintessence which makes up our human and Islamic identity. We need to increase love among ourselves and extend it to the household of the Holy Prophet (S) and particularly Fatima Zahra (SA); we need to get close to them by being obedient to Allah.

The psalm recited just now does not mean that because we are Shia and its lovers we will not face chastisement even if we sin; this statement is not true. "Only those who are obedient to God are our Imams." They have become Imams only through being obedient to God. They have been tested even before their birth. "God tested you before He created you; He found you worthy."

There is discipline in the divine system. Once the Prophet (S) told Hazrat Zahra (SA), "Our family relationship is of no use to you before God." What has become worthy for the Prophet (S) and the Infallible Imams (AS) includes their obedience, servitude, and prayers to Allah. That is why in your prayers when mentioning the name of the Holy Prophet (S) you refer to him first as a servant of God and then as the prophet of Allah. The former is above the latter. We should take the same path, too. Of course, it is a long way to go. We should be thankful even when we realize the meaning of reaching such summits. We should do our best to follow this path; then we would realize it in accordance with our capabilities.

We hope Allah will bestow his countless blessings on you. God willing, we will learn more about these great figures and develop a sincere relationship with them.

May Allah bless you all.
