Today, one of the important and fundamental tasks which is carried out by popular arts and entertainment companies across the world is frightening people of Islam. Why is that? If Islam had not threatened the interests of those who swallow the world, these reactions would not have emerged. The fact that they create, form, arm and support certain [terror] groups in the name of Islam and the Islamic government and that they use these terror agents to kill innocent people and create insecurity in countries [in West Asia], indicates that the message of Islam has been influential [hence, threatening their hegemony].
They are afraid of true and original Islam, one that your predecessors introduced and showed to the world in the arenas of battles, politics and the Revolution. As these dear young individuals pointed out, today you are the inheritors of those great martyrs and those magnificent men.
Islam's message for humanity is the message of tranquility, dignity, honor and a secure life. The enemies do not want this message to be introduced to the world. They do not want nations to become familiar with it.
Islamophobia is a manifestation of major powers' fear and anxiety in the face of Islam. This is the truth of the matter.
You members of this Assembly really made efforts. The people of Iran made efforts as well. They showed diligence and they established and brought to power the Islamic establishment. They strengthened its foundations and they immunized and secured it against different matters. They consolidated it on a daily basis. This frightens global bullies. The Islamophobia that exists today is, in fact, a reflection of their anxiety and despair. It shows that you have managed to move forward. It shows that Islam has been able to successfully launch and move forward its movement to this day.
Of course, despite what they are doing, their movement against Islam and their effort to create Islamophobia will bear reverse results. That is to say, their actions will make the young ones curious about Islam. If the masses of the people in the world are given a little nudge and if we attract their attention, they will begin to understand why the Zionist press and television networks—the ones which are dependent on powerful and well-to-do cliques—launch so many attacks on Islam. This will pose a question in the minds of the masses; we believe that this question has certain blessings and that it can turn the threat into an opportunity.
