The Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei attended a memorial ceremony in commemoration of the committed Islamic jurisprudent the late Ayatollah Fazel-Lankarani on Thursday, June 21.
The ceremony, which was held at the Shahid Motahhari Higher Education School, was also attended by the heads of the three government branches, the chairman of the Expediency Council, Cabinet ministers, a number of deputies of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, some of the representatives in the Experts Assembly and also a large group of people from different social strata.
At the ceremony, the eulogists of the Holy Prophet's household (peace and greetings be upon them) recited some elegies in lamentation over the demise of Ayatollah Fazel-Lankarani.
