I received the news of the demise of erudite scholar and eminent historian and researcher the late Hojjatoleslam-val-Muslemin Hajji Sheikh Ali Davani with sorrow and regret.
The unique efforts made by the late Hojjatoleslam Davani in the field of research and authorship about the scientific luminaries of the Shia are indeed worthy of praise and admiration.
I express my condolence over the regrettable loss of this prominent scholar and researcher to the country's scientific community and also to the venerable family and honorable children and other esteemed relatives of the deceased, and I pray to Almighty Allah to raise his status in the hereafter and bestow mercy and remission on his soul.
