Iranians had every right to storm US embassy in 1979: American activist

Americans were shocked and outraged, but it would have come as no surprise to those who remembered or took part in the coup that overthrew Mossadiq. It was hatched in that very same embassy. We did not tremble remembering our 1953 betrayal of democratic Iran in order to create a client regime whose purpose would be to further perceived US national security interests - because this “crisis” was recorded in a vacuum; one with no context or history.

Obama differed from Trump only in his method of hostility

The truth is that President Barack Obama was just as hostile to Iran as is Trump. But Obama agreed to the nuclear deal because he knew that the United States had reached a crossroads in its dealings with the Islamic Republic. Trump is motivated by the same hostility to the Islamic Republic as is the entire U.S. ruling class, as represented by both the Republican and Democratic parties.

Hajj: antidote for the malignancy of American materialism

As Ayatollah Khamenei has pointed out in his 2017 Hajj message, the way for Muslims to combat this pernicious, western-produced pandemic of materialism is by participating in the annual Hajj pilgrimage.

The world remembers 64th anniversary of the west-sponsored coup in Iran

Peaceful, tolerant and socially oriented Islam was seen as a tremendous threat, at least in London, Washington, and Paris. It had to be stopped, even destroyed - resolutely and by all available means. Only the pre-approved Wahhabism, which was collaborative with the West and from the onset at least partially ‘co-produced’ by the British Empire, was singled-out and allowed to ‘bloom and succeed’.

The situation in Yemen is complex, with the U.S. supporting the Saudi Arabia puppet government of Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi. The U.S. and Saudi Arabia have been bombing Yemen at least since 2015.

Will the Cycle of Wahhabism Remain Unbroken?

Western meddling in Middle Eastern affairs, without a doubt, needs to come to an end. Weapons deals, crash training courses, and all funding for ISIS sponsors, like Saudi Arabia, must cease to exist. Most political figures in US, of course, have no intention of putting an end to what they have started; henceforth, these endeavors must be accomplished by the people.

Tehran's missile strike on ISIS was a message for Riyadh and Washington: analyst

While the target, coordinated with Damascus, was ISIS terrorists, General Ramazan Sharif of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IGRC) made it clear that the message was especially for ‘the Saudis and Americans’. Iran knows very well they were the masterminds of the Tehran attacks, and that provocation was a large part of the exercise.

The West and their Tango with Wahhabism: Western Role in Augmenting Extremism

Why would the West even consider spreading dangerous ideas of Ibne Taymiyyah and Wahhab? And didn’t they take into account the immeasurable destruction that could result from injecting Wahhabi fanaticism into these regions? USA’s entanglement with Saudi Wahhabism has definitely been one heck of a tempestuous tango--so to speak.

In the first part of a three-part series on Wahhabism we will address the roots and origins of this extremist cult.

US "rewards" Saudi client regime with massive military support: analyst

In the oil-rich Middle East, that US-led order requires the vast natural wealth of the region to be not controlled by the majority of the region’s people, but by Western corporations. The Saudi regime and other Western client regimes function to maintain this hegemonic parasitic arrangement. The “reward” for these client regimes is massive Western military support that props up the elite, anti-democratic clients.

UNESCO's 2030 document seeks to make children slaves of the hegemon

The UNESCO report is dishonest in failing to observe that as long as we have central banks controlled by the arrogant powers, as long as we have concentrated wealth and a legal system that protects the 1% at the expense of the 99%, no amount of education, in any form, will be useful or liberating. Education as designed by the West is a tool of enslavement. It is used to train people to be obedient servants at the same time that it extinguishes all forms of creativity and originality.

Lady Fatima inspired women of Iran to emerge as an extraordinary force

Women's day in Iranian society and culture is incomparable to other places, in terms of the spirituality and charity in the atmosphere; because, it cherishes and shares the sacred moments of welcoming Hazrat Fatimah (as) into the world with all virtuous women. It is at best a selfless day for Iranians. It is a day for character building. It is a day for expressing the capabilities of the Divine Creator’s brilliance through femininity.

The Wahhabi House of Saud was nowhere to be seen in Tehran. For quite a while, informed Arab observers have pointed out that Iran, gradually, has evolved into an enlightened – albeit far from perfect – Dar-al-Hikma (house of wisdom) whereas the Wahhabi House of Saud and its satellites remain trapped in a centuries-old quagmire of Ahl-al-Jahiliyya (community of the ignorant).
