Imam Khamenei announces General Sea-based Development Policies

In implementing Article 110 of the Constitution and after consultations with the Expediency Discernment Council, Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has announced the General Sea-based Development Policies to the heads of the three branches of the Iranian government and the head of the Expediency Discernment Council. According to this announcement, the executive branch is obliged to submit - with the assistance of the Iranian Parliament and the Judiciary and the cooperation of responsible institutions - a comprehensive plan for the implementation of these policies. This is to include the submission of bills, the approval of regulations, and the enactment of the necessary executive measures within a six-month deadline.
