The joint graduation ceremony for the cadets studying in the academies of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Armed Forces, was held this morning (Monday) by way of a videoconference between Imam Khamenei - the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces - and the commanders and certain military units who were present in the event. The event was held in Imam Ali (pbuh) Officer’s Academy with only a number of the exemplary units from the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army, Guard Corps and Police in attendance due to special conditions brought about by the prevalence of Covid-19.

The English translation of the Arbaeen Supplication for Imam Hussain (pbuh)

Arbaeen is the 40th day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (pbuh) and his companions, who sacrificed their lives for Islam. Commemorating a martyr is equivalent to keeping his name, memory and path alive, and making a pilgrimage is one of the ways for remembering and reviving those memories. Therefore, the pilgrimage to Imam Hussain’s (pbuh) shrine, especially on the 20th of the month of Safar – the Arbaeen of that Imam, has many virtues. One of the Arbaeen supplications has been narrated by Sheikh Tusi (may God bless him) in his book "Tahdhib al-Ahkam:" Safwan Jamal said, “I asked Imam Sadiq (pbuh), ‘How can I visit and talk to your forefather (from afar) on the day of Arbaeen?'
