In addition to these, the people took part in a great movement on Quds Day after having spent the entire night awake [praying during the Qadr Night]. The faithful people were fasting that day but took part in those glorious, massive gatherings throughout the country. These are divine blessings. They are God’s grace. The month of Ramadan is both the month of beseeching God and the month of jihad. In the early days of Islam, the Battle of Badr took place in the month of Ramadan. The conquest of Mecca took place in the month of Ramadan. And over these years, Quds Day has been the day of the Iranian nation’s struggle. Praise God, other nations also joined in on a very wide scale this year.
