Imam Sajjad

Imam Sajjad's (pbuh) role in preventing the obliteration of religion

The magnanimous Imam Sajjad (pbuh) lived for almost 34 years after the tragedy in Karbala in the Islamic environment that existed at that time. The story of his life is full of lessons. God willing, those who are aware of the events that took place in his life will relate these happenings for other people, to Muslims and even non-Muslims. In this way, everyone may learn how our fourth great Imam (pbuh) was able to stand alone and prevent the obliteration of religion's foundation after Ashura, which had been a heavy blow to the pure, true Islam. If it was not for the efforts of Imam Sajjad (pbuh), the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (pbuh) would have been forgotten, and the effects from it would not have remained.
