Lady Fatimah Zahra’s (pbuh) value was due to her servitude and devotion to God. If devotion to God had not been a part of Fatimah Zahra (pbuh), she would not have been “Sediqah Kubra.” What does “sediq” mean? Sediq is a person who honestly shows what he/she thinks and says in his/her actions. The more sediq, or honest, the person is, the more valuable he/she is. He/she becomes “sediq.” As the Holy Quran states, “They are those whom Allah has blessed, including the prophets and the truthful” (4:69). “The truthful” are mentioned right after “the prophets.”
