In this meeting, the Leader also delivered a speech on the merits and prominent characteristics of that Hazrat.

Congratulating the nation on the birth anniversary of the honorable daughter of Prophet Muhammad (s.w.a), Fatimah al-Zahra (s.a), Ayatollah Khamenei described Fatimah (s.a) as a bottomless sea and reiterated: "The kindness of the Prophet's Household (a.s), especially Fatimah al-Zahra (s.a) provides a proper opportunity for one to show one's talents. Therefore, the more intellectuals, and those enjoying exquisite tastes and feelings contemplate on the issue, the more precious pearls they will find."

His Eminence described referring to the hadiths of the Prophet's Household as necessary for exploring the depth of this ocean of enlightenment and spirituality and advised poets and panegyrists to refer to the words and traditions of the innocent Imams. Ayatollah Khamenei also advised poets and panegyrists to ask for the assistance of the Prophet's Household and devote their taste, artistic skills, and exquisite taste and voice to the innocent Imams.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also referred to the great capacities of the Islamic community and the political and broadcasting atmosphere of today's world and described a new perspective, hopefulness, certainty about the future, and understanding the bright path ahead of the Iranian nation as the necessary needs of those active in the field of art and media as well elites, political activists, university members, and veterans of society. He added: "The Islamic Revolution was not an incident in the history of Iran. Rather, it was a major event in the human and world history, and the outcomes and facts of the Revolution will become more evident in the course of time."

Referring to the moral impact of the Islamic Revolution on the world stage, Ayatollah Khamenei added: "The world has been moving quickly towards a materialistic understanding of life for centuries, but the Islamic Revolution resisted this huge movement, and revived moral feelings, even among western youth, by hoisting the flag of spirituality."

His Eminence described the attacks against Islam and the Holy Prophet (s.w.a) as a sign of the increasing influence and attractiveness of Islam and the fear and failure of the materialistic imperialism of the west and reiterated: "Attraction towards the message of Islam and the ideology of the Prophet's Household is evident in the world, and it is due to this reason that the masterminds of the materialistic imperialism of the west have become worried and disgraced."

Clarifying the political influence of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the issue of colonialism and the spreading of the domineering powers in the world and its consequence, namely the division of the world into domineering states and those who give in to domination and reiterated: "After about two hundred years, the Islamic Revolution resisted this movement and the leaders of the domineering powers in the world, namely the White House officials, have turned into the most hated politicians and officials in the world, and the "Down with the US" motto that was first voiced by the Iranian nation has now been spread among other nations as well."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution referred to the enmity and opposition of the domineering powers against the Iranian nation after the great event of the Islamic Revolution and reminded the nation of the great leadership of Imam Khomeini (r.a) during the most difficult times. He added: "The nation and youth of this country embraced the words of their leader form the bottom of their hearts and understood and followed those words. And due to this reason, all efforts to deviate the course of this Revolution failed and will continue to fail by Allah's favor."

Ayatollah Khamenei described the role of government officials, politicians, ulama, intellectuals, panegyrists, and those who raise the flag of love for the Prophet's Household as facilitating the movement of the Iranian nation and said: "Negligence, forgetting about the enemies, discord, and laziness are among the possible flaws of this movement and all influential political and cultural figures of society should be careful about their words, writings, and stances and should know that unity and alliance are the keys to all achievement and victories."

His Eminence also referred to the efforts of the administrators and officials in various sectors of the country and added: "Even if there are people who want to make objections, they should not do so in a way that would result in the weakening of the officials. Rather, everyone should try to overcome the shortcomings through unanimity."

Elsewhere in his speech, Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the role and the importance of art as a tool for transferring points and concepts and reiterated: "Through utilizing art as a tool, valuable and important concepts would penetrate the hearts of all audiences, and it is due to this reason that the more meaningful, instructive, up-to-date, and fresh the panegyrics for the Prophet's Household are, the more influential they will be."
