During the 50 to 60 years after the Prophet's (pbuh) passing, Islam had changed so much that in the Islamic world those dear to the Prophet were openly killed and taken captive. Imam Hussain (pbuh) was like an enormous stake that held this tent safe in the storm with his own blood.
