The Arrogant Powers are wrong if they think that the Islamic Republic can be brought to its knees like any other government using some conventional tools - propaganda attacks, political pressures, economic pressures and the like. No, this is a mistake. In Iran, there is the matter of belief. The matter of adherence to religion involves the divine duty of people to defend this system and government that is holding the banner of Islam. Similarly, this is the duty of other Muslims throughout the world. Therefore, they have organized various political, economic and military opposition, hostilities and conflicts against the Islamic Republic from the beginning of the Islamic Revolution as much as they were able to. Our honorable Imam Khomeini (may Allah be pleased with him) was always telling us that their enmity is not just aimed at us, but in fact they have targeted Islam and the Qur’an. This is a point that all Muslims worldwide should pay attention to. Those who are in conflict with the Islamic Republic today and resort to propaganda, political confrontation and various economic sanctions are those who have openly shown their hostility toward Islam. Their efforts are not hidden. Of course, they did not show their hostility toward Islam very much in the past, but the progress of the Islamic movement has forced them to reveal their true nature. The recent incident caused by the United States and Israel - which is the tamed dog of the US government - in Argentina is an example of such enmity. Of course, this kind of propaganda is not new or important to us.
During the ten-year period following the Islamic Revolution while Imam Khomeini (may Allah be pleased with him) was still among us, the Islamic Republic was constantly challenged by the enemy's hostile propaganda. We cannot remember a time when such propaganda against the Islamic Republic, which has taken place under various pretexts, has ever stopped. However, the Islamic Republic has always been the proud conquering party. The same thing has happened this time - in the controversy over the issue in Argentina. The Islamic Republic is not afraid of such propaganda. Our government and our country will not be harmed by the propaganda campaigns of the hireling newspapers of the world, the Zionist radio the immoral American statesmen and the like. They have propagandized against us so much that we have become propaganda-proof! These are not important. People around the world do not believe this propaganda either, except for a few simple-minded, shallow people. For this reason, we will not suffer much loss. I have heard that even the Argentinian people are upset about their government's weak reaction. They believe this issue originated in the United States and Israel. Eventually, the correctness of this belief was proven to the world. They then launched a ridiculous, baseless propaganda campaign and created a tumult.
