Ayatollah Khamenei the Leader of the Islamic Revolution paid a three-hour visit on Tuesday to different sections of the exhibition of technological innovations of Fars province.
The latest scientific innovations of the scientists and inventors of Shiraz University, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, and mine and industry sectors of this province were displayed in this exhibition. Inventors from other sectors such as agriculture, electronics, transportation, defense industries, and science and technology also displayed their products.
The nanotechnology section features many innovations in such fields as nanochemistry and nanophysics.
The exhibition also features various inventions in biotechnology, oil and gas industries, chemical engineering, and atmospheric sciences.
In the exhibition booth of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, the specialists and researchers of Fars province have put on show their innovations in the field of transplantations, especially the transplantation of liver, kidney, pancreas, bone marrow, and the cornea.
Different high-tech medical devices are also on display.
In the mining industries section of the exhibition, Ayatollah Khamenei inspected the latest inventions of Fars province engineers in such fields as petrochemistry, telecommunications, and water transfer lines.
Also in the same section, various innovations in the fields of telecommunications, designing and building electromagnetic counters, production of advanced plastic composites, GRP water lines, hybrid electrofilters to reduce pollution in cement factories as well as various other innovations in petrochemistry and oil industries has been put on display.
Biological pesticides, portable digital physiotherapy devices, and various other inventions in the fields of bone operation, production of different transformers, and use of oxygen in breeding fish were among the other innovations and inventions displayed in this exhibition.
The commander in chief of the Iranian Armed Forces Ayatollah Khamenei also paid a visit to the special booth of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics and inspected their latest achievements. Several weapons and electronic military equipment were put on display.
