Imam Khamenei's response to organizers of the Combating Corruption Conference

On December 2014, a conference was held in Iran by the title of "The national conference for improving the health of the bureaucratic system of the country and combating corruption." Before the beginning of the conference, the Vice President wrote a letter to Imam Khamenei asking him to send a message to the conference. Imam Khamenei responded with this message.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I applaud your efforts to combat corruption, but what miracles are this conference or similar ones going to accomplish? Is the situation not clear for you officials in the three branches of government? Considering the favourable, promising relations - in terms of unity, cooperation and solidarity - that exist among officials, why is no decisive, fundamental action taken so that everyone can witness the results? I expect the honorable gentlemen - with or without holding a conference - to make and implement decisive and practical decisions without any other considerations.

May you be successful.
