Leader’s Condolatory Message on the Demise of Hojjatoleslam Musavi-Hamedani

The Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei on November 1, 2007 issued a condolatory message on the demise of dedicated clergyman Hojjatoleslam Hajji Sayyid Abolhassan Musavi-Hamedani. In his message, the Leader condoled with the faithful residents of Hamedan Province and the esteemed family of the deceased. The text of the Leader's message is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I express my condolence over the loss of dedicated clergyman the late Hojjatoleslam-val-Muslemin Hajji Sayyid Abolhassan Musavi-Hamedani to all his friends and associates and the faithful and revolutionary residents of Hamedan Province and in particular to his dignified and honorable family.
This magnanimous clergyman rendered many religious and spiritual and social and revolutionary services during his lifetime, especially during the time that he was the Friday prayer leader of the city of Hamedan. Also, his perseverance and endeavors in the course of the imposed war would never be forgotten by his friends and associates.
May Almighty Allah bestow His mercy and remission on the sacred soul of this devout scholar.
