After that, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces inspected the military units present on the parade ground.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ayatollah Khamenei considered knowledge the secret of ability. He added that the Islamic system is pursuing welfare combined with justice, scientific progress and development together with security and peace of mind of individuals and power combined with a brotherly attitude toward other nations in the world.
The Leader stated that obtaining knowledge and attaining bravery and valor are the main objectives of cadets studying at the country's military academies. He further noted that the dignity and progress of any nation are contingent on the power of that nation, adding that the brave and popular Iranian armed forces act as the strong fortifications of the nation against any bullying and intimidation.
As regards the ideals and noble objectives of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khamenei pointed out that development and welfare, independence and freedom, seeking justice and countering bullying powers are the objectives of the Islamic Republic, the noble objectives that are totally accepted by any nation.
"This is why the ideals of the Iranian nation are refreshing the world like a spring breeze, and they are exalting and dignifying our nation in the eyes of other nations throughout the world," he noted.
Elsewhere in his statements, the Leader of the Islamic Republic said that Imam Mahdi (greetings be upon him and may Allah hasten his reappearance) infuses mankind with hopes and aspirations. He stressed that anyone with this enlivening hope holds the belief that the world's arrogant powers, like the foam on the surface of water, would not be able to confront the genuine campaign for justice, truth and spirituality.
