Islam has called on humans to be sympathetic towards one another: to be highly affectionate, interested, and caring about one another’s destiny; to be interested in one another’s talents; to be sorrowful towards one another’s sufferings and mistakes; to pray for each other and to treat one another with mercy.--'And advised one another to compassion.' (Quran: Al-Balad, 17).
Friendship, affection, kind-hearted relationships--between brothers, friends, sisters, and among the people of the Islamic nation--,benevolence and good intentions are highly distinguished attributes: these should be strengthened.
The worst traits in humans arise when they focus only on themselves and their own material interests; and they are willing to expose many people to misery and death in order to satisfy a personal aspiration and desire.
