Those in power in the United States, wishfully and naively, are still suffering from the illusion that they rule the world. They talk in a manner as if they are dictators over the entire earth! And there are some who obey them out of fear and low self-esteem. Today, the Islamic Republic stands in full power against the United States and tells those in power, who do you think you are? If you are a powerful state, then go manage your own country! If you really care, then tackle the insecurities and violence on the streets of Washington DC, New York City, and Los Angeles! If you really care, go fix racial discrimination and the disastrous violations of human rights for both whites and blacks in your own country! Mind your own business, rather than meddling with other nations' affairs!

As far as I know, according to the available information and statistics, perhaps no country on earth has violated human rights as much as the United States has. They insult and trample on the rights of humans in Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo and even people held in their own prisons; but, they flagrantly accuse other nations of violating human rights.
In addition to their crimes in various parts of the world, they are committing human rights violations in the United States. African Americans are still suffering from oppression, prejudices, discrimination and different pressures. During the presidency of George Bush, Sr., African Americans staged a great protest throughout the US, because of the oppression and injustice they endured. Since the police could not quell those who rioted, the army was called in.
When the next U.S. president stepped in, Bill Clinton, more than eighty members of an American religious group known as the Branch Davidians, Christian cult members opposed to the U.S. government's policies, were burned alive in their headquarters, because they refused to exit the compound and surrender to federal agents. However, those claiming to support human rights did not raise an eyebrow! Is this what they describe as advocating for and observing human rights?
Under the incumbent U.S. president, when the United States was trying to occupy Afghanistan, American forces not only dropped bombs on Afghan civilians and destroyed their homes in cities and villages, but they also massacred a large number of inmates at a prison in northern Afghanistan; the West's media empire prevented the report from circulating around the world.
Despite all these crimes and human rights violations committed by the United States, U.S. officials are accusing other countries, including the Islamic Republic, of violating human rights. The banner of human rights is carried by those who have committed the most human rights violations themselves.
Statements made during a gathering in Mashhad; March 21, 2005
They say: "We support human rights." We respond: You do not believe in human rights at all! You believe in the rights of American mega companies and capitalists. You believe in unlawful interests of the American government throughout the world. You never care about human rights! Neither in the past, nor today! The problems within the US and the issue of the non-white Americans are famous. Tens of millions, maybe 40 million or more - I don’t recall the exact number- non-whites in the US are deprived of human rights. Within the cities of the US, with a government which calls itself the pioneer of human rights—which makes the well-informed wise people around the world sneer [and shake their heads in regret]-- the thousands of people in different cities of the US that expressed their anger and contempt recently, to whom they addressed their contempt but to you? To whom they protested about the violation of their rights!? You have no respect for your own citizens, only because of the color of their skin, then you talk of human rights!? For so many years, you have killed the oppressed people in different regions of the world. What did you do in Vietnam?
How many US troops went to Vietnam in support of one of the worst governments? Was the Southern Vietnam government of the time in favor of human rights or was it one of the most corrupt governments? US took its troops there with all their military facilities; they killed not only the armed men, but also the women and children. They killed so many children. They killed so many women. They killed so many farmers and buried so many victims. Is this how they observe human rights?
