The commander of the Law Enforcement Force (LEF) and other senior LEF officers met the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei on Monday, March 6.
In an address to the audience, the Leader referred to the high status of the LEF and the significance of its performance in society. He stated that protecting the lives of citizens and providing moral and financial security and peace of mind for the people are among the major duties of the Law Enforcement Force.
Pointing to the fact that the LEF performance is the source of pride and honor for the Islamic system, Ayatollah Khamenei noted that authority is the indispensable necessity for the Law Enforcement Force.
"Maintaining order and discipline is an indication of the Islamic system's strength, and if it is accompanied by poise and politeness, kindness and piety, it will have a strong influence on society," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces told the audience.
Before the Leader's statements, the LEF Commander Brigadier General Esma'il Ahmadi-Moqaddam presented a report on the performance and activities of the Law Enforcement Force in the current year and its next-year programs.
Expressing his gratitude for the cooperation of all related government organs, General Ahmadi-Moqaddam described the indicators of the LEF performance in various areas as rising and positive.
