Ayatollah Khamenei paid tribute to Imam Khomeini and Revolution's martyrs

On the occasion of Fajr 10-Day in Commemoration of the victorious Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei visited Imam Khomeini's (ra) tomb this morning--Wednesday February 1, 2017--to pay tribute to the founder of the Islamic Revolution by performing prayer and reciting fatiha.

Next, Ayatollah Khamenei visited the tomb of the former chairman of the Expediency Council, the late Ayatollah Rafsanjani, and sought God’s forgiveness, mercy, and compassion for him.

He then visited the tombs of former officials, martyred during the June 28, 1981 bombing, paying tribute to the lofty martyrs Ayatollah Beheshti, Raja’ee, Bahonar, and other esteemed martyrs.

Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Revolution, also visited the tombs of the revolution’s martyrs, the holy defense era’s martyrs, and the martyred defenders of Syria's holy shrines. He paid tribute at the tombs of courageous and faithful firefighters who were martyred, recently, while rescuing people during the Plasco tragedy. His Eminence commemorated the sacrifice of all these sincere martyrs and asked God to elevate their souls to the highest ranks.
