A French novel called The Thibaults (Les Thibault in French) by Roger Martin du Gard was published in Farsi around 1990. The novel comes in four volumes and has over 2000 pages. Within a short time, a second edition was published- I have the second edition- so it has certainly been interesting to the readers.
