Leader Appoints New Director of the Defense Ministry's Information Security Organization

The Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, in a decree issued on October 30, 2005 appointed Brigadier General Ali Shamshiri new director of the Defense Ministry's Information Security Organization. In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Brigadier General Ali Shamshiri,

In view of your commitment, competence and bright record of military service, and considering that you have been recommended by the Defense Minister, I hereby appoint you director of the Defense Ministry's Information Security Organization.

You are expected to carry out your momentous responsibilities within the framework of legal procedures and established regulations and in coordination with the Information Security Office of the Armed Forces General Command.

I express my appreciation for the sincere service rendered by Brigadier General Hassan Zolqadrniya while he was holding this position.

I pray to Almighty Allah for your increased success in performing your responsibilities.
