Leader Appoints New Director of the Army's Information Security Organization

The Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, in a decree issued on December 4, 2005 appointed Brigadier General Farhang Me'mar-Nahavandi new director of the Information Security Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army. In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Brigadier General Farhang Me'mar-Nahavandi,

Considering that you have been recommended by the chief commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army and in view of your competence and bright record of military service, I hereby appoint you director of the Information Security Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army.

You are expected to carry out the assignments entrusted to the Army's Information Security Organization in an appropriate manner with the help of dedicated and efficient personnel and by utilizing modern scientific methods and also in coordination with the Information Security Office of the Armed Forces General Command.

I express my appreciation for the valuable service rendered by Brigadier General Akbar Dianatfar while he was holding this position.

I pray to Almighty Allah for your increased success in performing your responsibilities.
