Leader Designates New Representative in IRGC

The Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, in a decree issued on December 24, 2005 designated Hojjatoleslam Ali Saeedi as his new representative in the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC). In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Hojjatoleslam Ali Saeedi,
Considering that Hojjatoleslam-val-Muslemin Hajji Sheikh Mohammad-Ali Movahhedi-Kermani has resigned from his position, I hereby designate you as the Leader's representative in the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
It is hoped that the significant duties associated with your office will be fulfilled and spiritual values will be promoted in the IRGC in a proper manner with due cooperation from all IRGC commanders and relevant officials during the time that you are holding this position.
I express my gratitude and appreciation for the sincere and selfless efforts that were made by Mr. Movahhedi-Kermani in his capacity as the Leader's representative in the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps.
I pray to Almighty Allah for your success in performing your responsibilities.
