The following is the full text of the letter written on July 15, 2015 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in response to President Rouhani's letter on the nuclear agreement between Iran and P5+1. In his letter, President Rouhani thanked the Leader for his valuable instructions and guidelines in the process of reaching the nuclear agreement. He stressed that the agreement was reached after world powers realized that the weapon of sanctions cannot prevent the people of Iran from making progress in different arenas. President Rouhani reiterated that the secret to reaching the final agreement was domestic unity and unanimity and the Leader's guidance.

Mr. President,
With peace and greetings,
I thank you for your many efforts. First, I deem it necessary to sincerely thank the team in charge of the nuclear negotiations for their continuous and strenuous efforts. I ask God to bestow His rewards on them. Second, concluding these negotiations was an important step. However, it is necessary to very carefully study the text that has been prepared, so that it can then move in the legal direction that has been determined for it. Then, in the case of ratification, it is necessary to be on the alert for possible breaches of agreements by the other side and the blocking of its path. You know very well that some of the six governments in the opposite camp are not trustworthy in any way.
I also expect the dear people to continue preserving their unity and tranquility so that we can ensure national interests in a quiet and reasonable environment.
