Leader Receives Navy Commander and Personnel

The Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei received the commander of the Naval Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army and his deputies and a group of Navy personnel on Wednesday, November 28.
Speaking at the meeting, which was held on the occasion of Navy Day, the Leader referred to the capabilities possessed by the army's naval force. He stated that the most significant asset of the Iranian Armed Forces is trust in one's abilities and reliance on Almighty Allah.
"The planning and performing of sophisticated military tactics during the eight-year Sacred Defense displayed this significant asset, and today the army's naval force is using this asset as its motive power for progress and obtaining great capabilities," Ayatollah Khamenei pointed out.
The Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran further stressed that the personnel of the army's naval force are today able to design and manufacture many of their modern military requirements. He added that thanks to this valuable self-confidence, the Islamic Republic of Iran has become self-sufficient and is no longer in need of other countries for its military requirements.
In conclusion, the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces underlined the importance of the constant strategic assessment of the Navy's position.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Commander of the Naval Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari presented a report about the progress and increase in the deterrent power of the Navy.
