The following is the full text of the message issued on January 23, 2015 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, to the participants of the 49th annual meeting of the Union of the Islamic Students Associations in Europe. The message was read out by Hojjatolislam wal-Muslemin Javad Ejeyi - the Leader's representative in charge of academic affairs in Europe - in Kabood Mosque in Yerevan, Armenia.

Dear Youth,
Your presence in academic centers of different countries will give you the opportunity to adopt a deep and wise outlook towards the events and phenomena of the world. It will give you the opportunity to benefit - for the sake of future Iran - from those scholars who know the world. The value of these things should be appreciated.
Being deceived is as harmful as suffering from lack of knowledge. Today, you should think in particular about why western polices promote Islamophobia and which powerful element exists in Iran's political Islam that makes greedy, transgressing and arrogant powers confront it with all means possible.
You should combine knowledge with wisdom and you should combine these two things with piety and purity. If this happens, no source of wealth in the country will equal the existence of you youth.
