In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I express my condolence over the demise of the dedicated clergyman and assiduous researcher on the holy Qur'an Ayatollah Hajji Sheikh Muhammad-Hadi Ma'refat to the Islamic seminary and ulema and scholars and loyal residents of the city of Qom and the esteemed family and progeny of the deceased.
This exalted clergyman rendered valuable services in the field of religious research and authorship, especially in the area of Qur'anic exegesis and sciences, to the country's scientific community, and his writings are among the lasting publications.
He was also present in different arenas of the Iranian nation's struggle at various stages, and his son attained martyrdom in the course of the Sacred Defense.
I pray to Almighty Allah to bestow mercy and remission on his soul and raise his status in the hereafter.
