On the seventh day of his trip to Kermanshah province in western Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei the Leader of the Islamic Revolution met on Thursday with hundreds of outstanding scientific, cultural, literary, artistic, athletic, social and economic personalities of Kermanshah. Speaking at the meeting, His Eminence described art and science as divine blessings and said that the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic will use these divine blessings in order to promote Islam, spirituality and transcendence.
Ayatollah Khamenei explained the ways in which global bullies and capitalists exploit art and science and said that bombs and chemical weapons are the only things that western knowledge has brought about for the people of Afghanistan and Iraq.
His Eminence stated that the news networks affiliated with the arrogant powers which highlight misguided models are trying to promote dangerous Zionist goals and added that their efforts are based on specific policies.
Elsewhere in his statements, Ayatollah Khamenei said that colonial powers have always tried to humiliate the Iranian nation and present it as incompetent. He stressed: "Through amazing scientific and technological advances, the youth and outstanding personalities of the nation have proven this anti-Iran policy wrong over the past 32 years."
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that Iranians are more talented than the global average. Referring to Iran's glorious history and cultural heritage, he added: "At a time when the west was in absolute darkness, Iran was the pioneer of an outstanding scientific movement in Islamic countries."
Ayatollah Khamenei said that according to the statistics presented by global centers, Iran's scientific growth is several times faster than the global average. "Besides preserving and increasing this promising rate of growth, we will reach the frontiers of knowledge by relying on the confidence that Iranian youth have in their capabilities and we will create new scientific horizons for the human community by expanding these frontiers."
