In a meeting with a number of poets, Ayatollah Khamenei the Leader of the Islamic Revolution explained the characteristics of Islamic Awakening in the region and reiterated that the recent developments in the region have been influenced by the impressive movement of the Iranian nation.He said that the Islamic Revolution wiped out the satanic Pahlavi government and shook the foundations of the order of domination. He added that the Islamic Revolution turned the Iranian nation into a role model for other nations.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution urged poets to understand the requirements of the present era and to remain committed to the factors that make the Iranian nation a role model.
His Eminence stressed the need for deepening religious and Islamic knowledge in contemporary poetry and reiterated that in order to acquire religious knowledge, it is necessary to go after a scholarly view and to avoid unscholarly inventions.
