In a meeting with a group of ordinary citizens, families of martyrs, religious scholars and government officials of Kurdistan province, Ayatollah Khamenei the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that the enemies acknowledge the power and glory of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region. He reiterated: "Since the first day after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the propaganda empire of the enemy broadcast as much propaganda against the Islamic Republic as it could, but the Islamic Republic foiled these plots by moving on the path of progress."The Leader of the Islamic Revolution added that nations of the world hold the Islamic Republic of Iran and its prominent figures and lofty ideals in high regard.
His Eminence stated that Iran's progress depends on serious, insightful and pious efforts of its people. "Through its efforts, the Iranian nation imposed this progress on the enemy, and the current situation of the country promises a better and brighter future."
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that the fourth decade of the Revolution is the decade of progress and justice. He added that Iran is unified and that it has a tendency towards scientific progress. "And great and exceptional measures have been adopted regarding administration of justice."
Ayatollah Khamenei said that different grouplets had caused an atmosphere of fear in Kurdistan province during the early years of the Revolution, further adding: "The people of Kurdistan have always shown their loyalty to the Islamic Republic. And even the enemy's complex propaganda has not affected this valuable characteristic."
