In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The life of this mujahid on the path of God is one of the most eventful, enlightening of lives and truly unique. I first met him in the early 1350s AHS (1970s AD) in our home in Mashhad. Martyr Andarzgu had brought him and expressed how much he trusted him. I asked him, “Are you related to Agha Sayyid Abbas Qazvini who was an acquaintance of ours in Qom?” He replied, “I am his son.” Later, I saw him once again during those same years in front of Evin Prison and another time among the forces dispatched from Qazvin in the headquarters of the irregular warfare units. After his return from captivity [in Iraq], I had the opportunity to work closely with him for several years. But no one could have guessed from his humble, reserved, outward appearance the depth and magnitude of his lofty struggles. May God’s mercy and pleasure be upon him. I have no doubt that he is among the exalted martyrs. This book has been written with great skill and artistry, and we appreciate his work.
