This year's event honored the martyred Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, known as "The commander of Resistance Diplomacy." The ceremony was attended by Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimin Qomi, Deputy of International Affairs of the Office of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Parliament Speaker, military commanders, and a number of foreign ambassadors.
This event coincided with the anniversary of Imam Khamenei's historic letter addressed to American students protesting in support of Palestine — those young individuals who, despite the pressures from the US government, took to the streets in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine. In that letter, Imam Khamenei stated: "You are now standing on the right side of history."
Subsequently, the painting titled "The right side of history," created by Ali Hossein Amini, was unveiled. Inspired by that historic statement, the artwork depicts a student raising the Palestinian flag above an indomitable crowd, symbolizing unwavering resistance.
