In a meeting with Mr. Mir Hussein Mousavi, Ayatollah Khamenei the Leader of the Islamic Revolution reiterated that the issues related to the presidential election should be pursued through legal channels.
In this meeting which was held yesterday afternoon, Mr. Mousavi presented a report about the presidential election and expressed his views in this regard.
Referring to the issues raised by certain people and candidates during the previous elections, Ayatollah Khamenei said that those issues were dealt with by the Guardian Council and the current matters should be pursued through legal channels as well.
Referring to the letter sent by Mr. Mousavi to the Guardian Council, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the Guardian Council has been urged to accurately deal with the matter.
Ayatollah Khamenei further referred to the enemies' provocation and plots hatched behind the scenes to cause riots in the streets and said that all matters should be pursued in a peaceful atmosphere.
Ayatollah Khamenei also referred to the unprecedented presence of the people in the presidential poll and added: "By Allah's favor, the presidential election was accurately held, and the current matters should be pursued legally."
